During a Saturday interview with HuffPost Live at Davos, William McDonough explained his unusual approach to viewing waste. 'I like to sit in garbage cans, metaphorically,' McDonough said. McDonough explained how toxins in packaging are never mentioned; while the contents may be 'ecologically, nutritionally correct', the packaging itself is not. Beside the fact that it leaches into the food inside, it also presents problems when it comes to recycling.
