| Dee Davis, who lives in Kentucky and is in Obama's 'Appalachian problem' zone of concern. I'm probably closer to the author's address than I am to any other's, except John Edwards' childhood in NC. Great discussion on how Mountain people (in PA, WV, KY,OH)react to hardship. In 2008 usual poverty is enhanced by gas prices. It's largely a rural America challenge. White, undereducated, yes, but Democrat (if they vote). |
