Was the outing of Plame in a well orchestrated campaign culminating in the infamous Robert Novak column a deliberate effort to circumvent activities of the Brewster-Jennings group because it did not want information it uncovered brought into the decision making process? Did the neoconservatives wish to be left free to make up and apply their own 'facts' and appropriate spin to what was happening in Iran?
