SAN FRANCISCO - A cross section of Black, Latino, Asian-Pacific Islander and progressive Whites are determined to win a battle with city and congressional leaders over what activists call one of the most horrific cases of environmental racism and political double dealing in the country. The radioactive, toxic contaminated area is Hunter's Point, a former nuclear shipyard slated for housing which the military never cleaned up.
