| How many similarities are there between the African child soldiers' experiences and that of our own troops? How many of the survivors will ever come to terms with themselves after what they have done and what has been done to them? It is good to know that patriarchal values can be overcome, but how many of us would have the patience of the nurse in this story to even try? |
