| Juan Cole, writing for salon.com, explains an impending change in FBI procedures to allow investigation based on nothing but type of group or appearance of being Muslim. If agreed to, the operation could begin in the fall. Article lays out past attempts of FBI which did not bring court cases. And it goes into cases which were dismissed for lack of solid evidence. But! It's domestic snooping of the worst kind. |
