Rocky Mountain states will play a big role in the February 5th nominating contests. The candidates winning there will be those who ignore the fictions and appreciate the truths about the people living in the region. Common myths include reflexive support of right-wing national security policies and rampant libertarianism. The truth is these folks are like all other Americans: complex and not easily stereotyped.
