This opinion piece appeared on Scholars & Rogues a little more than a year ago, and being that opinions often don't lose any luster, timeliness or effect after only a year, it might be something to ponder upon if you've ever encountered someone who's "made it without any help from the government at all." Written with a snarky and amused tone by the head cook and bottle washer of Scholars & Rogues, it's one of my favorite opinion pieces of all time. It's funny, clever, and oh, so true. Enjoy!
