Congresswoman's Cynthia McKinney first hand account of a NATO missile strike on a Libyan university and the courage with which the faculty and students face the daily challenge of obtaining an advanced degree while under attack by the world's most powerful militaries. McKinney compares the basically free higher educational system in Libya to our own in the United States and wonders exactly what type of freedom NATO missiles are meant to bring the already fully functioning socialist system in Libya: free market capitalism seems only to benefit NATO, not the average Libyan. |
