Taking a lesson from our Northern neighbors, the US would do well to stop propaganda in it's tracks like this. A recent shanghai interview of an arts advocate by fiery anti-arts anchor Krista Erickson resulted in an incredible backlash as over 4,300 viewers complained to the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council. Upset the interview was 'an attack', not journalism, this volume of complaints exceeded the number of complaints received by the agency annually and overwhelmed their resources. Considered 'Fox News North', this outpouring of over-aggressive bias in broadcasting by the Sun News Network should provide an example for Americans who are far too complacent with US media and the unsupported propaganda attacks we see on a regular basis. Sun News may be forced to air an apology after the investigation is concluded. |
