| Both were 777-200's. Tail numbers were M9-MRD and M9-MRO. Details of photos of the two planes suggest that the Ukraine plane was really MRO, (though it was officially MRD). A photo taken by one of the passgengers aboard MH-17 also shows the wrong tail number. A radar screen from July 17 shows that MH-17 was "canceled". Both a Dutch doctor and a Russian military officer reported that bodies at the crash site were decayed and rotten, not fresh. Former AP reporter Robert Parry has been told by an intelligence source that the US is in possession of satellite images showing that Ukrainian troops were responsible for the shoot down of MH-17.
