Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said in a speech via satellite to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the largest pro-Israel lobby in the US, that diplomacy has so far failed to deter Iran from pursuing its nuclear program, warning it was getting closer to crossing a crucial "red line." Sanctions alone will not stop Iran, Netanyahu said. They must be "coupled with a clear and credible military threat if diplomacy and sanctions fail."
Meanwhile, at the same conference, US Vice President Joe Biden said that President Barack Obama is 'not bluffing' about America's determination to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. |
