No, this is not a scene from a horror movie! But is it surprising that something horrid like this could be occurring in the badly compromised waters of the Gulf? I am talking about reports that the risk of infection by the flesh-eating and liver destroying bacteria Vibrio vulnificus has begun to increase after contact with Gulf waters or seafood, including a 12 year old boy has just died from such contact with this bacteria.
