| Caving to financial pressure exerted by US corn subsidies, Mexico plans to plant GMO corn to stay competitive. Some farmers are being lured into it by Monsanto, the titan of GMO foods with pesticide spliced into the genes of corn, soy and other frankenfoods. Mexico tried to resist, but will have to 'license' Monsanto's patented seeds. |
