I've never lost a bet arguing that what the lobby wants, the lobby gets. Right now, it wants the heat (barely perceptible though it is) off Netanyahu. That is what they will likely get, although the single-issue 'pro-Israel' donors still won't like Obama. (He is perceived as 'even-handed,' a term AIPAC uses to describe those insufficiently devoted to Israel.)
