The Canadian Minister of Defense and the Prime Minister's office think Canadians need to know each time aging Russian bombers get anywhere near Canadian airspace. Critics call it a ploy to drum up support for untendered F-35 fighter purchases, and say it interferes with Obama's efforts to improve military cooperation with Moscow. |
