This letter begins- 'Dear Chief Jordan: The American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild have grave concerns about the conduct of the Oakland Police Department in connection with its raid of the Occupy Oakland encampment during the early morning hours of October 25, 2011 and its response to an evening demonstration in support of Occupy Oakland on the same day.' (This letter requests 16 multiple disclosures to be made within 10 days, including the identities of those ordering the crackdown. Could a lawsuit be brewing?) |
