|A wall along the Mexican border is in competition with the reality of American factories and farms, and Republicans in Congress are on the brink of battle over two sharply differing approaches to immigration.
The Senate is scheduled to begin debating this week, but Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., questions whether any bill will end up on President Bushs desk because the Senate is unlikely to go along with the approach adopted by zealots in the House last year.
