The Greek government agreed on February 20 to come up with a "program of reforms" that it will implement in exchange for a four-month extension on funding and "financial support." Late in the night of February 23, the Greek government sent its program of reforms to Brussels. This program must now be reviewed and approved by the European Commission, the European Central Bank (ECB), and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) -- that is, the three institutions that make up the Troika. |
