SPACE is meant to be the final frontier but it's starting to look more like a cosmic rubbish dump. An estimated 500,000 pieces of man-made garbage, from tiny specks of metal to jettisoned fuel tanks the size of a bus, hurtle through space at more than 30,000km/h, creating a serious traffic hazard for satellites. |
