Does Labor Ready Inc Owe Hundreds Of Millions To Its Day Labor Workers

Every Monday thru Saturday morning around 5:00 am, thousands of people across America enter one of 600 Labor Ready offices looking for work in any daily paying job available. Men and women sign in, take a seat and wait on call up to 5 hours each day hoping they are one of the lucky people who will get selected to work. Labor Ready corporate policy makes it mandatory that each employee be physically present in the office in order to be selected for work. State and Federal labor laws entitle workers to be paid if it is mandatory they wait on company property to be able to work. Labor Ready refuses to pay them and so far the courts agree.
