What is the Afghanistan War really about? 911? Al Qaeda? The Taliban? Pakistan? Could it be it's all really about heroin? A leak published in the Times reports President Karzai's brother Ahmed Wali has ties to powerful drug lords and has been receiving funding from the CIA. With Afghan heroin crops booming under US occupation, this begs the question - was this 'war' another government endorsed Iran Contra-style drug operation? |
