BP had not conducted such a test since 1992, and "regulators say more frequent tests should have been done." BP's Alaska President admitted as much yesterday, promising the company would be "adjusting considerably our corrosion program." The EPA "has launched a criminal probe to determine whether the company was negligent in managing the pipeline."
