Annan To Send UN Delegation To Middle East As Violence Grows

The delegation, which will be composed of three veteran U.N. officials, will travel to Cairo Friday for a Saturday meeting with Arab League officials, and then visit Israel, Lebanon, Syria and the Palestinian territories, Annan said.
