American filmmaker Beth Murphy returns to Kabul Province, Afghanistan, where a girls' school grapples with the pending drawdown of US troops. 'I have gotten to know the students, teachers and administrators here, and returning now at such a tense time is a powerful experience. I find myself full of hope for the girls as the first generation of educated Afghan women in their community; delighted when I see how beautiful and bright they are; and afraid, sometimes even terrified, for their futures.'
