Reports says the US ranks 42nd in terms of life expectancy, behind almost every other developed country. Just as damning, the US has dropped from 2nd in terms of human development in 1990 to 12th place now and has a higher percentage of children living in poverty than any of the world's richest nations. Some 14% (40 million) lack basic literacy. One in six lack healthcare coverage. What will Obama do?
