| An Afghan mother was gang raped and stabbed after confronting the local commander about the disappearance of her son. Three men were sentenced to prison but have returned to the village with a pardon supposedly signed by President Karzai. A spokesman for Karzai said that the President would be 'upset and appalled' if the documents proved genuine. |
