White House Fire in Dick Cheney's Office

Poll question: Why has there been no investigative reports, or even news items, discussing what was destroyed in the Dec. 20, 2007 fire in Dick Cheney's White House Office?

There is no story because nobody inside or outside of government really cares.
Everybody in and out of government believes that a thorough investigation is underway and the information about the fire will be reported to the public just as soon as the investigation is complete.
The corporate media has been cowed by a White House taboo on the subject; breaking silence means they will be ridiculed (or worse) for sensationalism and fomenting a baseless conspiracy theory.
