What is the best way to stop the "food safety" bills?

Poll: What is the best way to stop "food safety" bills HR 875, S 425 and others, which would effectively outlaw organic farming and backyard gardening? -Do nothing! GMOs will save the world.
-Do nothing! The doofuses will never get around to enforcing these laws.
-Do nothing! I really need to go on a diet.
-Write angry letters to representatives saying hell will break loose if these bills pass.
-Write polite letters to representatives to persuade them in the short time we have.
-Get people who understand our representatives thoughts to persuade them.
-Form cooperative organizations to help everyone continue gardening.
-Bang on pots and pans in the street to make sure everyone knows whats going on.
-Get everyone that owns a tractor to drive it to Washington DC to have a little talk.
-Stockpile ammo.
-Quit gardening, put your head between your knees and, uh, never mind.
-Two or more of the above (please explain).
-Other (please explain).
