Should President Obama Forgive, Fire or Accept a Resignation from General McChrystal?

Following the disclosure of the contempt General McChrystal has expressed toward Commander in Chief President Obama, should Obama forgive, fire or accept McChrystal's resignation.

Forgive-- let him keep his job and continue running the Afghan war.

Fire- dishonorably discharge McChrystal without retirement benefits-- sending a message to other officers in the USA's out of control military.

Accept his resignation and allow him to honorably leave
