In the history of our planet, there have been an uncountable number of wars. Only one purported to be over a sexual partner, The Face That Launched One Thousand Ships: Helen of Troy and Paris. In addition, even that war was more over silly pride, lust for riches and power, than love.

The Churches have focused on Human sexuality as the major problem in the world, ignoring the devastatingly murderous effects of Greed/Avarice, of which the slaughter in Iraq is only one example.

Thousands of wars before and since have been fought by at least one side over the lust coveting of/for money and power, resulting hundreds of millions of lives taken and more ruined, to say nothing of the stealing of the wealth of each age into which the Wars for Greed were fought by at least one of two combatants.

We here and now have seen what greed/avarice can to men, women and nations. The upgrading of Major League professional athletes and movie stars, the worship of Cresus in every TV, cable and movie has developed in every family a desire for wealth that now, for many, exceeds the desire for sex-a thing thought impossible by the gods.

Surrounded by wealth, everywhere one looks in growing up, it is nearly impossible to regard much for the maintenance of a sense of ethics and strength, which are unrewarding if one seeks material pleasures, which some previous generations had been thought to be inferior and despicable. Now and before, if we were students of history, we have seen 1.5 million murders of our own and another nations youth, elderly babies and adults and a modern nation destroyed with millions displaced and Diaspora over the Wealth of Ages in Black Gold-oil.

If one had invented arch-villain, one could not have created those more evil than those some Americans voted into the highest offices in the land. Those of us with consciences, which are functional, even many honest, empathetic Republicans, revile what I have dubbed The Bushites, as the lowest form of live on the Blue/Green Planet, Earth. If there has been a worse, more vile group of man and women ever born, in our long knowledge of history, only and handful compare; Herod, Nero, Caligula, Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Bush/Cheney.

But they alone are not to blame, a good segment of the 54 million Americans who voted for them must share some of that blame as well as a strong portion of the 60% of single working women who failed to vote, the incredible stupidity of Ralph Nader, the more incredible incompetence of the Gore and Kerry Election Managers who are by some quirky means, which is a confidence destroyer in the competency and lack of ethics possible even if a democrat is elected and has a favorable congress, is the fact that members on both sides of the Aisle profited more than $196 million on oil and defense stocks since the war began.

Everywhere on the planet now, nations are fearful of being attacked for the wealth they own. Everywhere we are seeing town boards bought-off by a variety of profit seekers, in moves that make ethics and true altruism a thing now long lost.

Everywhere people's private. Bedroom antics are the subject of news and new laws casting those who make love more villainous than those who make war.

Churches and the news media have focused on Paris Hilton, Angelina Jolie, and other sex symbols as an evil influence, while ignoring the horrors of the greedy, driving people into bankruptcy, scamming the nation with an oil war costing 1.5 million lives so far, and worse, if that can be imagined.

Hypocritical Churches on the far right and the not so far right see human sexuality as the gravest crime and have obviously forgotten entirely Jesus' Rejection of The Temptation In The Wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11) as an essay on Greed/Avarice
and the Samaritan Woman At Jacob's Well John 4:4-42 and focused on bedroom goings-on as the worst evil facing mankind. I disagree. What about you

Which would you rather see dubbed the worse evil, sexual Love for another human being, or Cheney Bush lust for avarice/greed? When was the last time, if ever, that human bedroom goings-on cost 1.5 million lives?

Which is the worst danger for all life on the Planet earth, BEDROOMS SECRETS or AVARICE/GREED?
