Should Homo Sapiens Go On?

    

I have long pondered The Voluntary Human Extinction Movement, since its founder, Les Knight, responded to an article of mine, "  Why have kids?

It's a profound philosophical question, that I think many people have never truly considered. I also think one's answer has implications for one's behavior. But you be the judge.

I encourage explanations to your answer, for my own curiosity, and I'm sure for that of others. As in any poll, I realize there may be many responses I haven't considered, hence "other" is a choice, again with explanation encouraged.



Yes, our species should go on.
Yes, but with many changes in the way we relate to each other and the planet.
Yes, but in much more limited numbers.
No, we are an inherently flawed species, with no hope of redemption.
