Poll Reign in SCOTUS SCOTUS by WikipediaMore than two centuries ago, the founders of this country established the basic rules for how the different branches of government should operate. While there have been some changes over the years through amendments, this process is difficult and changes have been few. Good arguments can be made that while the founders intended that the Supreme Court should be the weakest of the three branches it has become the strongest and many would argue the most troublesome for maintaining our Democracy. The question I raise here is whether a Constitutional amendment might be in order to somehow make the Supreme Court more responsive to public sentiment. No. The Justices should be free to make their best judgements so long as they live.Yes, but I am not sure how it could best be done.Yes. Justices should serve only a limited number of years.Yes. Voters should have a chance to reject sitting Justices and have them replaced.Yes. I will explain in a comment. 15 votes View Results and Comments Invite Your Friend(s) to Vote: View All Polls
