Poll: 2009 - Are You looking Forward to the Year Ahead?

2009 is a week away.  "Happy New Year"  - Are you looking forward to the year ahead?  How do you see it?  Are you optimistic,  resigned, or dealing with despair?  Will it be better than 2008 for you yourself, your family and your community?  Are there enough favorable signs on the horizon to outweigh the doom and gloom?

Use the comments section to say "Why" you feel that way.

1. Not a hope - We're all sunk - The 'darkside' have the year sewn up already.
2. Resigned. It will stay this bad or worse for a long time - Live with it.
3. Quietly Optimistic. The hopeful signs around are enough to weather the storms.
4. Very Optimistic - Things are looking up, big time! There's much to look forward to.
5. 2009 will be a superb year, one of the best . This is what we've been waiting for!
