Mandatory Participation in Heathcare System

     There is a lot of discussion about the mandatory part of the new Healthcare legislation. No one knows at this point of course what the exact wording will be in the legislation, but there has to be some mechanism for guaranteeing 100% participation of every citizen in this country. Mandatory participation will be necessary to keep costs down. There is even talk of fining or jailing people who do not buy health insurance when they can afford to. The constitutionality of this is in serious doubt but that option is still on the table.
