Listen to the Radio?

The media concentration of recent years has severely reduced the diversity of programming available on both television and radio. The invasion of traditional broadcast radio by the hate-talk shows typified by Rush Limbaugh have made radio especially unappealing to more thoughtful Americans.

In a recent article, I described an alternative to depending on local radio stations and in this poll I hope to learn more about peoples listening habits.

I listen to the radio often because I don't know of any alternatives.
I know all about the alternatives, but I prefer broadcast radio.
I generally listen to a subscription radio service such as XM or SIRIUS.
I generally listen to recorded music from a CD or iPod.
I listen to programming downloaded from the internet, as in the recent article above.
None of the other choices seem right for me.
