How Can We "Fix" Immigration?

     It is clear that illegal immigration has become an issue that the American people want to deal with now. Both the nature of and solution to the immigration problem covers a broad range of view points. What do you think is the most important thing the government should do to resolve the immigration controversy in America?

Make it easier for immigrants to enter the US legally
Close the border
Build a fence between Mexico and the US
Offer a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants
Demand the federal govt reform and enforce immigration law
Let each state legislate its own policies to deal with immigration issues
Prohibit states from using racial profiling in attempt to enforce immigratin law
