... And the justification against Impeachment is now what??

The election of '08 has now passed... It's over and done with: Roger, Over and Out.

Presumably, this would negate the Pelosi-Conyers main excuse for not pursuing Impeachment seriously. If it was possible to gamble on this subject, who would bet on their not finding a new bare excuse? Even Los Vegas wouldn't bother posting the odds on that one, i think ;)

But what possible reasons could they have now? Let's help our Congressional Leadership out of this sticky pickle... And provide them some new lame justifications for their continued refusal to prosecute, or even seriously discuss in Committee, the myriad and obvious crimes of the present administration.

Perhaps Chairman Conyers can write another book, and explain to us all how farsighted and courageous it is to buck the public's silly desire for Justice, protection of the Constitution against a Executive bent on usurping power, and restoration of the Rule of Law. Speaker Pelosi can write the introduction... And the sole cover blerb.

... And your justification against Impeachment is now WHAT ??

It won't pass in the current senate
We're still too busy doing damage control for the Bail-Out, don't pester us now.
Dennis Kucinich would get national exposure: CAN'T HAVE THAT!! (see corps below)
GE, Exxon-Mobile, ADM, Humana, BoA, Walmart, and Phizer think it's a very bad idea.
Hey, 2 years is not that far away and we'll be needing big campaign donations again.
How the heck could we spin why we didn't do it earlier, once the Truth comes out?
Bush & Cheney still have control of the Capitol Bldg's restroom door locks!
