There are questions
one may not ask
in America,
but underneath them all
is an idea on which
the most basic decisions
are implemented -
who will have the opportunity
to live life to its fullest,
enjoy the fruits of his own labor,
nourish not only his body, but his spirit,
who will live and who will die.
(why)
Though we may not ask, we see the answers
in the actions taken by the people's representatives
whose every decision unmistakably mirrors
the wishes of those they submissively serve.
The actions taken based on these decisions
are each worth, at least, a thousand words.
