stop inflicting your reality on me

catholic protestant jewish islamic bureaucracy

of belief

that isn't mine

not for me divine

your way's not mine

ok?

so when it leads to war play

ground swelling death and compounds

of inhumanity

for the sake of your profanity

don't bring it my way

your book's not my book

your take's not my take

your way's not my way

so don't drag me into your play

ground

full to bursting with your ideology

I'm sick of your desire for burning effigies

of gods and lords and saints and things

that don't bring

harmony on dove's wings

prayer time

confess time

rules that bind

bells that chime

voices that call

dogma and all

aren't my ball

game

for varied

ways of being

but not this inhumane

way of living

being

told by voices unheard

what to do how to act

f*ck that

I need to know

who it is that says

stop or go

bullshit living through a pulpit

of split cut sliced and diced

belief systems and requiems

to free will and personal truths

just

believing something from youth

that was indoctrinated

causing the 'rest' to be alienated

as each is made to believe he is right

the only route to some light

and all others will be in the dark

or burning while your world

just keeps on turning

with angels and virgins

and misty space

get out of my face

with your imagining

keep it to yourself...

you've seen what sharing it brings

here then's my prayer to my god of the air that I breathe that keeps me live and well not in hell but here and now where I am with who I'm with cause this is it

what I've got

not what you've got

not what could be

not what maybe

but what it is that now brings what this is the words that sing as a hallelujah to a god, a creator of the moment whose atonement is not sought but is brought with the gift that this moment is

each

and now

and next

and then

this is when and this is when I give thanks for this time that's all mine all I own, my precious divine it's what I make it ...not how I take it

what I choose

how I use it

this is it

and this again and nowhere in my moment's holy scripture does it say to kill another who doesn't too

believe in all that I do

doesn't pray to the god of now ...the deity of the moment

the father the lord the master the servant the giver the taker the holy motherfucking queen of nature giving all that there is the ultimate omnipotent one true god to one soul and another still seeking to find eachother so that we can finally be a religion just like you and we too can have our way and have our say and have our pray and you can come play too on our sacred ground of here and now in this moment easily found

here then is another sacrament to chew

over taste for truth

savour for flavour

for essence of godliness

holiness

glory be to almighty-ness

...be blessed by the moment

to each his own

to each his belief

to each what he may

to each free to pray

to whoever it is that floats his boat

that warms his shackles

and provides coloured coat

to each his own

to each his relief

to each what it takes

to make him complete

to each let it be what will be right for them

to each let it be their personal amen

and to each let him find a deity of CHOICE

...not only the one with the loudest voice

silent faith

a quiet grace
