In 1967, before we hitched to Haight Ashbury, I posed with my friend Winston, on Taft Point, overlooking El Capitan, with Yosemite's Double Rainbow in the background. The Winston and Wayne Duo makes it the first originally-recorded, double-W, politically-phonetically-correctly-pronounced double-double-U Rainbow. Our Double Rainbow is the original, unabridged, unadulterated Double Rainbow, as any hyperventilating fellow can see (notice the 1967 photo date)--picture telling a thousand words, sorry about your luck Yosemite Drama King Bear.

Sure, my wife says, Winston and I look gay, posed on the precipice, particularly with Winston's provocative and thundering thighs, but looks can be deceiving, can't they? I have not seen him in a while; he went into animal husbandry. But Huffy-Post has no right to twist our Double Rainbow, like a Pepper Stix, as if we were posing for some High Court prismatic moment.
