Doing some research in my spare time, I tried to find the original statement by Bin Laden, issued by him on Al Jezeera on Sept. 16th 2001...

::::::::

In it he denied any responsibility for 9/11, stating: "The U.S. government has consistently blamed me for being behind every occasion its enemies attack it."

"I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons," bin Laden's statement said."

"I have been living in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders' rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations,"...

 I know the statement was easily available on the Internet a couple of years ago, because I sent it to a few friends, the media, and members of my family.

 But now, it has been completely scrubbed from Google. Perhaps it might be on some 9/11 web sites, but it can not be found through any search. All there is, is an article from CNN quoting some of the statements in the original:  http://archives.cnn.com/2001/US/09/16/inv.binladen.denial/

 The fact that a document of such fundamental importance has been removed from any basic Internet search, to me is mindboggling.

 But (with some effort) I did manage to find an interview which shortly followed the original denial, in which Bin Laden explains some of the reasons he didn't, and wouldn't, have been involved in the attacks.  And it's not as if he has ever been shy before about claimimng reponsibility for his other acts of terror. So I really don't have any reason to believe this isn't true: http://www.911review.com/articles/usamah/khilafah.html And the subsequent audio and videotapes in which he supposedly admitted guilt, have been shown to be frauds.

 In addition, of course, the FBI has openy admitted that Bin Laden is not even wanted by them for 9/11 because, "There is no hard eveidence" linking Bin Laden to it: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article13664.htm

 Just some Saturday night thoughts...

I am male, over-50, and live in the NYC metropolitan area. I would describe myself as politically and spiritually preoccupied. I believe we (the human race) have arrived at a pivotal point in world history. I also believe that while good and (more...)
