MSNBC: Palin's teen daughter pregnant | VideoOK, it seems rather unfortunate, but there are thousands to hundreds of thousands of teen aged and adult females who have unintended, and often, unwanted pregnancies.
Most unfortunate is the fact that most of the teen aged and adult females, with unintended, and often, unwanted pregnancies, will not have the fundamental, basic and essential support expressed in 'the statement issued by the campaign' as "Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. We're proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents," and "Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family," which I take to mean that 17-year-old Bristol will keep the child, marry the father, and be provided with a place to live, health and hospital coverage, and sufficent financial income to take care of themselves and their expected new child.
Now, that only leaves the, at least, hundreds of thousands of others who are less fortunate, and will be exceptionally lucky if they get any to minimum "love and support." Especially if that matter is controlled by the political self-rightous "Conservatives" who are dead set against providing government assistance, which they refer to as "hand outs" with all of the negative and undesirable connotations the "Conservatives" can imply and project for any idiot to associate with the term "hand outs." Even though, as we all know (Don't we?) that ALL Conservatives are "True Christians" who KNOW and live the "Words of God" through "His only son, Jesus, The Christ" - right?
I heard that. Don't try to start no fuss by bringing up the part about Jesus, The Christ's priority of compassion, loving other humans, helping the less fortunate, and all of that. Because we also know (Don't we?) that somewhere in "The Bible" it is apparently written that the less fortunate are supposed to "pull themselves up by their bootstraps" - if they don't have no boots it is obviously their fault - right? YOU know like Right-wing.
Now here's my bet about Arch-Conservative "Soccer mom" Palin. I bet that she is adamently against, not only abortion for ANY reason, but I bet, 1 dollar with "In God we trust" on it, that "The next Vice President of The United States", Governor Palin, is also TOTALLY against "unwed" teen-age sex, any sex by anyone who does not have a marriage certificate, sex education in public schools, especially about how to enjoy sex while taking precautions to avoid unintended and unwanted pregnancies. Sarah Palin, evidently, is not qualified to advise any other families about how to avoid that highly poential problem.
"Senator McCain's view is this is a private family matter. As parents, (the Palins) love their daughter unconditionally and are going to support their daughter," said McCain spokesman Steve Schmidt. "Life happens," he said. "An American family," Added McCain adviser Mark Salter.
It is alright to keep smiling and grinning, as long as ya don't get mixed up and think that the bit about "a private family matter" applys to YOUR personal rights to decide about sex, pregnancies, abortion, or most everything else - as far as the "Conservatives" are concerned. That "private family matter" only applies to 'them.' They make and inforce the "laws" that dictate what and how YOU are allowed to do, whatever, so that YOU don't have to bother with thinking about making any decisions - see?

Otherwise YOU can try to 'forgit about it' - until YOU are forced to deal with that in YOUR personal life, and/or related unpleasant matters, as a result of Right wing "Christian" control of whatever rights YOU think ya have now.
