In one of the oldest fantastic satires 'The war with Salamanders' Chech writer Karel Chapek describes a pamphlet 'X warning' in which an anonymous author warns the Humanity about the dreadful consequences of the bondage of salamanders into slavery.Of course, Humanity did not listen in his novel and.. salamanders took over eventually. BTW, the leader of the salamanders, the Great Salamander was human.
We are facing the same situation now only our Great Salamander GW does not want to lead us. He wants us dead. The upcoming possibility of the bombardment of the nation of Iran puts us all into mortal danger.
Think about it. Let's say it happened and our aircraft had performed a
local attack on the Iranian facilities. Apart of the sick celebration in Washington and Bill O'Reilly's fit, what would be the consequences?
No, Russia and China will not interfere at first. They will wait for some time while:
1. Iran will proclaim a Holy War and issue a fatwa that every Shia Moslem who
will kill an infidel will have a place in Edem (Moslem Heaven). The first infidels to be killed would be Iranian Jews ( about 10000) and Iranian Christians ( about 100000). Even if there are no massacres, the repressions would be imminent.
2. Iranian mullahs will get into the connection with Moslem leaders all over the world. They will rightfully prove that Moslem religion is attacked and request the participation of all Moslems, Sunni and Shia alike. The first such alliance will be in Iraq after which, I assume the casualties of the US army will triple in one day. Everyone who still has some sense understands by now that in Iraq our army is not destroyed only because the resistance does not have enough incentive. Our actions will give them one.
3. There will be Christian pogroms with mass killings in the predominantly Moslem
States like Malaysia, Indonesia, Central Asian states, Somalia, Algeirs, Morocco, Pakistan, India. Absolutely innocent people will die en masse and even if the local governments interfere, they will not be able to prevent those things in full.
4. Egypt will have to face an increase of extremists activity and will have to
suspend any ties to Israel. Israel will have to proclaim a martial law.
5. All US citizens outside of the US will become targets, including women and
children. Our businesspeople, our students, our volunteers, all good people who work so hard, they will be at mortal danger and will have most likely to evacuate.
6. At the same time we here will face mass exodus of Moslems. They will leave whenever they can.
7. Our international business cooperation will suffer greatly if not
catastrophically. NYSE will plunge. Our outsourced places in India will be destroyed.
8. Practically in one day our country will become a rogue, dangerous
place, in war with a billion people, while 5.5 our other billions sit aside watching how we choke in our own vomit.
9. And yes, then Russia and China will do what they have to do with minimum casualties on their part.
10. We can still stop that. But only we, no one else.
