hi all, after much thought i have come up with a "write to the editor" contest where the winner gets $10 borders gift card(the one I get from Gather, actually it is like me donating my Gather earning..)
here are the details:
- the contest is open to all Gather.com members and anyone who is inetrested, you don't have to be members of the Anti-Defamation group at Gather\. although i would really appreciate u joining the group.
- to take part in the contest all you have to do is read news/article i will post on Anti-Defamation group page at Gather.com and contact the newspapers editor/newspaper or the author and express ur opinion on the news or the way it is covered. email address of the editor/author will be provided at the end of the article.
- u don't have to subscribe to a particular opinion,all we ask is ur honest assessment and opinion, and also respect for Palestinian equal rights,their human rights and justice.
- once u are ready to send ur email to the editor, add my email bhumika_g@yahoo.com in the BCC field so that i will be able to get the email.
- person who sends the most emails in a one month period(starting May 17,2007) will get the gift card.i have one card on had so we can start right away.
- once the winner is announced, i will post the emails he/she sent on Anti-Defamation group page so that all of us can share it.
- i will post how the contest is progressing once every three days and winner will be contacted individually.
