Katrin"As much as he is horrible, and evil, and incompetent, or whatever...nobody ever seems to care, or think what is best for that man. (And don't misunderstand me, I don't love, or support Bush)??But usually, if something is not good for you, it is also not good for anyone else. You have to think as Bush, and not just about him. You have to try to understand his mindset, and look behind his words.??And if any of us really cared about Him, we would know that he is dying to be taken out of his misery, and impeached. Don't you get it? That's what he wants.??What he is doing, is not only destructive, but self-destructive. He will escalate until we 'get it'".

?"People who vote for torture and crimes against humanity are evil and they know it as well as we do."
?" It is his victims who need your sympathy, and if you weren't so busy feeling sorry for the torturers, you would realize that."

"Think of a hostage, or kidnapping situation...it usually comes with a crisis team that has a lot more experience than a street cop. They are specially trained, and they know what they are doing???Their sympathy of course is with the victims, and hardly with the kidnappers. But for them to have a chance at being successful, they need to engage the kidnapper, and get some sort of trust, and relationship going. They praise them; they don't break promises; they allow the kidnappers a good amount of control; they try to reason with them, and they talk to them in a friendly manner. ??This is a tactic, but it also works, considering that many kidnappers have a human part to them, and can be stirred, and manipulated.??There is nothing you can do for the hostages unless you try to deal with the guys who are pointing the gun at the victim's heads. It's not a matter of adoration for the criminal, but 'smart thinking'. If you call them asshole, and act all pissed off, and make threats, and accuse them of being torturers...then this is really too bad for the victims..they are dead. What I am trying to say is, that you need to understand the mindset of whom you are dealing with, and as much as possible about their situation, life and circumstances."?

?"Am I paranoid? Or am I facing a terrible reality? Are those who accuse me of paranoia actually in denial themselves? Are they using psychiatric terminology to call me crazy and discount what I am saying, so they don't have to take me seriously?"?
?"Psychiatry was abused by the state in Soviet Russia to incarcerate dissenters. They were called "crazy" to question the glorious communist government, and locked up." ???
"I suggest that people refrain from psychiatric diagnosis where Bush (and Cheney) are concerned, and concentrate on the moral issues of good and evil, right and wrong, accountability for criminal behavior, justice.?As a practicing psychiatrist who writes on political subjects, I notice how psychiatric thinking and terminology has pervaded our culture. It's very useful in helping people who are genuinely mentally ill, but often obfuscates situations which are not properly in the domain of psychiatry." ?

"I suggest you can learn something about Psychiatry...just from all that you know, and feel...and your own words, and think about your patient's words."
PS: Through the eyes of a psychiatrist, you know you are 'mentally ill'! It's 'the law of the religion of Psychiatry. As a person, you know a lot better.
