Many people argue that it is unfair that Israel's actions generate what seems to be a disproportionate amount of criticism, such people fail to appreciate two things: Europe with the holocaust and the US with its veto have condoned illegal settlements and thus rendered themselves complicit in Israels illegal actions and Israel is on the fault line between the Islamic and Judeo-Christian world.
Israel and the world do not have the luxury of treating this conflict as an internal matter for Israel alone as it has the potential to trigger the much hyped clash of civilizations.
Here is a question, why if as the US acknowledgesIsraeli settlement activity is illegal is there never any consequences?
