It is raining today. Tomorrow we may be experiencing tornados and other "acts of God." Meanwhile the right-wingers want to put the Ten Commandments, every where, ... on the lawns of court houses, on buildings, on signs, in schools and classrooms. Now, Jesus would be opposed to all of those. But like me, he would support 9 of the 10 commandments.

::::::::

1) Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

All of those Republicans, which is about 70% of the Republicans, ... dropping fast, still worship George W. Bush. My own brother is a standard bearer on this commandment.

2) Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image ... that is heaven or earth.

Right wingers, including my brother, think an image of the 10 Commandments should be placed in front of court houses, as well as in other places, ... like the huge cross that was raised in Edmond, against city laws and not supported by most of the residents. Also, Republicans worship oil or anything that can make them big bucks or free tickets around the world by companies to which the Republicans give no bid contracts awarded those big companies with tax breaks.

3) Thou shalt not take the Lord thy God in vain, ... for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

This commandment is a joke among Republicans. Bush takes the Lord's name in vain every day, plus using potty-language unfit in any classroom in any public school. I was stunned to find an elementary school in Florida was being named after Bush.

Many weak military personnel uses filthy language to cover-up insecurities in their ownselves. As a country, our elected officials should be above such use, ... in God's name - if they believe in God.

4) Remember the Sabbath day and to keep it holy.

Of course, Jews and 7th Day Adventists still uphold this commandment, literally, while most Christians have moved this day, one up to Sunday, to honor Jesus, because He arose on Sunday and early Christians worshipped on this day.

Certainly, the neocons and Republicans have no use for this commandment. Making war, every day, dishonors this commandment. They also, see fit to cheat on their wives, lust after young teenagers, and little children on this day as well.

5) Honour thy mother and father

Using and worshipping government money to better themselves, and ditching their first wives for trophy wives is a common occurance among Republican law makers, which dishonors their mothers and fathers.

6) Thou shalt not kill.

Unless, of course, Republicans decide to go to war, and send young men and women, in other families, to die for their own, money-making causes. Jesus ammended this commandment considerably, which Republicans have absolutely opposed the ammended law.

7) Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Use google to look up Gingrich, Guiliani, DeLay, and many other Congressional types to understand the meaning of this law. Also google, "trophy wifes," and check "wickipedia" on this one as well.

Republicans rail on about liberal Hollywood, yet their lives are patterned after a few Hollywood stars.

8) Thou shalt not steal

Republicans and this administration have stolen billions of dollars from individual tax-payers to uphold their causes and to put their names on buildings and roads. This commandment also harkens back to 6 which says "Thou shalt not kill," though Republicans have stolen the lives of 3,341 American plus the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives in Iraq.

There has been billions of dollars wasted and stolen in the name of The Iraq War. Every major White House member has connections to at least one company that profits from wars.

9) Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

What can anyone say about this one? It is the foundation of Republicanism and this administration. Both, use it every day to keep the money rolling in and keep themselves out of jail and prison. The Bush administration is built and stabilized by lies. Now, we even see the attorney general lying. Cover-ups means that lies underly the reason for the cover-ups.

Republicans who hate President Clinton because Clinton gave out free suckers in The White House, these same Republicans were pleasing themselves with any bright piece of candy they could find. And they still do!

10) Thou shalt not covet they neighbor's house, ... wife, ... his car, motorcycle, daughter, oil, guns, leaders, ... .

Republicans ignore this commandment daily, by having affairs outside their marriage, using laws to take others houses to build buildings and roads to put their names on. Again, do a google on Gingrich, Guiliani, DeLay, and many other Congressional types to understand how this law has been ignored by Republican lawmakers.

Republicans love to whine about not being able to scrawl the 10 commandments on rocks and placing them in public places for their own vanity - but absolutely not in their own hearts.

Certainly, ... they have ignored these laws and the refinement of these laws, by Jesus, in the New Testament. It would be better if they follow them than spout them. Do a google on "hypocrisy." and check it using wickipedia.

Finally, Republican's should stop preaching and start following the 10 Commandments. Their first two actions should be getting out of Iraq. The second action should be do away with any church's untaxable status, if the head of Christian cults, use the money to build themselves huge homes and buying all of the rich niceties that they enjoy.
