Dan's recent posting of an article about evolution ( http://www.opednews.com/q/149687?)show=votes#allcomments ) prompted my comment below.I was considering posting a little Diary entry about this anyway, so I thought I'd just share the comment with you guys...

"The whole idea of evolution continues to occupy a lot of my current thinking.
One question recently arose: If the Darwinian principles of natural selection, survival of the fittest and even the more recent "genetic flow", still apply, then why do humans have brains that we only use about 10% of? How could so much grey matter come into being that we have no practical use for at present?"
