Who is afraid of Iran and why?

I get the feeling that Bush / Cheney are going to attack Iran before this summer.  Their rhetoric against Iran has gotten harder and the spineless congress including some of the candidates running for president have signed on for the ride.

 Most notably is Clinton.  I can’t for the life of me understand why the Democrats would allow this cabal of cretins plan another war.  Like another blogger analogized in an article I read the Democrats are just like a football team who has a lead with one minute left and is snapping the ball and going down on one knee to let the time run out for the game.

Unfortunately this is no game.  Soldiers and civilians are dying in Iraq and untold numbers will die if this lame duck president is allowed to pursue another PREVENTITIVE war with Iran.  This is not even a preemptive war because that means that an attack is inevitable and you throw the first punch before your enemy.  PREVENTITIVE war is when you strike first because at some future date your enemy may be in a stronger position to threaten you.  That is immoral and insane.

 Iran cannot hit the United States with any weapon that would cause mass destruction.  Unless they built a nuclear bomb and smuggled it into the country.  They would only be able to do that because of the funds diverted to make our ports safe is being spent in a PREVENTITIVE occupation of Iraq.  Furthermore their ability to build a nuclear weapon is years away.

As loyal and sane Americans I urge all citizens to write their representatives and tell them that they must not be lead in to another war based on lies and deception or on what another country may do several years from now.  This country must negotiate with Iran instead of being like the school yard bully and divert a war which would solve nothing and make the world a more dangerous place.

Tell the Democrats not to take a knee and stop miserable failure of a president from diverting attention away form his failure in Iraq to start another PREVENTITIVE war with Iran.
